Mission

I provide one on one Bar/Bat Mitzvah tutoring and Jewish spiritual mentoring via Internet video chat to Jewish children in a variety of educational settings in conjunction with an existing synagogue Bar/Bat Mitzvah program.

I also provide one on one Bar/Bat Mitzvah tutoring and Jewish spiritual mentoring via Internet video as an independent program, arranged under my guidance, with a committed Jewish family who is not presently affiliated with a synagogue. While barmitzvaheducator.com wholeheartedly encourages full participation in a synagogue community, we realize that there is a whole segment of disenfranchised Jewish families who are not affiliated currently with any synagogue for a variety of reasons.

Adult Bar/Bat Mitzvah Training

I also provide Bar/Bat Mitzvah training and Jewish spiritual mentoring to Jewish adults who have technically obtained the status of Bar/Bat Mitzvah from the standpoint of Jewish Law (Halacha) -which requires no ceremony or ritual to confer such status- and would like to celebrate a Bar/Bat Mitzvah as an outward expression of positive Jewish identification. In many cases, such requests come from adults who never were able to officially and publically celebrate their Bar/Bat Mitzvah status at the traditional appointed age.
